EeStairs America Inc. is seeking an estimating-driven Sales / Estimator to support the pricing and pre-construction evaluation of high-end, custom architectural staircases. This role is fundamentally about accurate estimating, scope clarity, and risk assessment, with sales responsibilities focused on communication and follow-through rather than traditional quota-driven selling.
Projects range from luxury residential to complex commercial buildings, requiring strong technical judgment, disciplined processes, and clear, confident communication

- Education or training in:
- Architectural Technology / Architectural Design
- Engineering Technology
- Construction or Estimating programs with architectural components
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and plans.
- Experience preparing cost estimates in construction or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and estimating tools (Bluebeam strongly preferred).
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Manufacturing experience with metal/steel and wood is an asset.
- Prepare accurate, measurable cost estimates for custom architectural stair projects.
- Produce clear cost quotations based on drawings, specifications, and defined assumptions.
- Complete detailed and well-organized quantity take-offs (Bluebeam preferred).
- Evaluate scope gaps, design ambiguity, constructability, and project risk during early estimating stages.
- Identify assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications required for reliable pricing.
- Coordinate closely with:
- Project Managers to align scope, handoff requirements, and execution approach
- Architects and Designers to clarify intent, details, and revisions
- General Contractors and Construction Managers for bid clarification and pre-construction questions
- Vendors and Suppliers for material pricing, availability, and technical input
- Internal engineering and production teams to validate feasibility and methods
- Research and maintain pricing for materials and components (steel/metal, wood, finishes).
- Maintain organized estimate records and pricing history.
- Communicate professionally with clients and vendors via phone and email to support estimating clarity and bid accuracy.
- Assist with lead follow-up and basic sales coordination as required, with estimating remaining the priority.
- Salary – $40-$50 / hour. Skills and Experience Factored. Overtime options available
